Legendary Las Vegas headliner Terry Fator has created a new road show to kick off his upcoming tour. Pure Imagination: Once Upon a Voice is a 90-minute spectacular, featuring the incredible impressions, comedy and ventriloquism that has made Terry and his characters a must-see show for fans across the nation. “Pure Imagination is a totally different concept than my road shows in the past,” Fator said. “I found that, throughout my life, my imagination had spawned countless characters, song parodies and comedy skits, and I compiled them all together to give my audience a fun look into my creative psyche.” The show features the classic characters Terry has made famous over the years: Winston the Impersonating Turtle; Country Star Walter T. Born in in the small town of Piet Retief, South African soprano Pretty Yende has risen to the top of the opera world with unparalleled speed. With her magnetic charm, acclaimed operatic and solo performances worldwide, and a critically lauded discography, Yende has quickly become one of the brightest stars of the classical music world. Since making her professional operatic debut at the Latvian National Theatre in Riga as Micaela in Carmen, she has been seen at nearly all of the major theaters of the world, including the Royal Opera House-Covent Garden, Opéra National de Paris, Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatsoper Berlin, Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Opernhaus Zürich and Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Vienna Staatsoper as well as many major concert venues. Notably, Yende performed during the coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey in 2023. She became the first African solo artist to perform at the coronation of a British monarch. Violinist Joshua Brown has been praised by audiences and critics worldwide for his “richness of sound, elegance of reading… commitment of every moment at the service of the work…” (La Libre). He was awarded a 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant and gained international attention after winning second prize and both Audience Awards at the 2024 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. As the recipient of a 2025 CAG Louis and Susan Meisel Prize, Joshua is currently represented by Concert Artists Guild. Joshua was first recognized for his debut performance with the Cleveland Orchestra and has gone on to perform regularly with orchestras around the world, including the Munich Radio Orchestra, MDR Sinfonieorchester, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Civic Orchestra, East Coast Chamber Orchestra, Belgian National Orchestra and Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liege, among others, continually garnering praise from critics. A passionate recitalist and chamber musician, he also regularly appears in recital performances and takes part in chamber music festivals. Join Curious George, the inquisitive, engaging monkey from the beloved books, movies and the award-winning PBS television show in a brand-new musical! Curious George: The Golden Meatball is a loveable adventure, specifically designed for young audiences, that is sure to leave audience members singing and swinging down the aisles. All You-Can-Eat Meatball Day came just once a year. George had been waiting all month for that day, a day almost bigger than his birthday! On Meatball Day, George helped his friend, Chef Pisghetti, cook some delicious meatballs and serve them to the hungry crowd. But this year, the crowd had vanished! Something was keeping people away… something pretty big. That something was Phinneas T. Lightspeed and his speedy Meatballs-o-Matic machine. In despair, Chef Pisghetti vows to cook no more. Determined to help his friend, George goes on a mission to enter the chef’s meatballs in the world-famous Golden Meatball Contest in Rome. Trio Azura is quickly emerging as one of today’s most promising young ensembles, characterized by “intelligence and imagination” and “profound emotion” (Gramophone). They are currently the ensemble-in-residence at the Colburn School—where they formed in 2022—and study with Jonathan Brown, Martin Beaver, Clive Greensmith and Fabio Bidini. Most recently, Trio Azura was named a winner of the 2025 Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions and appointed YCA Jacobs Fellows, becoming the organization’s first ensemble-in-residence. Trio Azura consists of Canadian violinist Duncan McDougall, South Korean cellist Yejin Hong and Chinese pianist Yanfeng (Tony) Bai. Although they come from different backgrounds, their unique perspectives are a constant source of inspiration. In 2024, the Trio won the Grand Prize, Gold Medal, Lift Every Voice Prize and the Horszowski Trio Prize at the 51st Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. They are also prize winners at the Schoenfeld International String Competition in Harbin, China.

David Sedaris is one of America’s preeminent humor writers. He is a master of satire and one of today’s most observant writers. Beloved for his personal essays and short stories, David Sedaris is the author of The New York Times bestsellers Barrel Fever, Holidays on Ice, Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, When You Are Engulfed in Flames, Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls, Calypso and Happy-Go-Lucky. The audio version of Happy-Go-Lucky, written and narrated by Sedaris, won the 2023 Audie Award. His book The Best of Me collects 42 previously published stories and essays. He also wrote Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk: A Modest Bestiary, a collection of fables with illustrations by Ian Falconer. His latest book of essays will be The Land and Its People (Back Bay Books, May 26, 2026). Sedaris writes regularly for The New Yorker and his essays have been included in The Best American Essays. The two volumes of his diaries, Theft By Finding: Diaries (1977–2002) and A Carnival of Snackery, Diaries (2003–2020) were New York Times bestsellers. An art book of his diary covers, David Sedaris Diaries: A Visual Compendium, was edited by Jeffrey Jenkins. He is the editor of Children Playing Before a Statue of Hercules: An Anthology of Outstanding Stories. His first children’s book, Pretty Ugly, illustrated by Ian Falconer, received a ‘star’ review from Kirkus. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the Texas-based musician fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers. Described by The New York Times as “a genuine artist with a thoughtfully conceived and poetic interpretation,” Minsoo Sohn is a Korean American pianist known for his musical intelligence and masterful virtuosity. Sohn has toured extensively throughout North and South America, Europe and Korea. As a soloist, he has performed alongside leading orchestras, including The Cleveland Orchestra, Boston Symphony, Calgary Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic, Israel Philharmonic, Orchestre Symphonique de Québec, Jerusalem Camerata, Holland Symfonia, National Orchestra of Belgium, Cleveland Chamber Orchestra, Korean National Orchestra and the KBS Symphony, among others. He has collaborated with conductors such as Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Pietari Inkinen and Sasha Goetzel. 2024–25 season highlights included a duo tour with fellow pianist Yunchan Lim across Korea; at the Verbier, Gstaad Menuhin and La Roque d’Antheron festivals in Europe; and a series of recitals playing Beethoven’s Sonatas across Europe—which continued in the 2025–26 season with recitals in Korea, Japan and North America. Sohn is the teacher and mentor of Yunchan Lim, the youngest person to ever win gold at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition at the age of 18 in 2022.

Basso Vox is a boundary-pushing duo that reimagines the roles and expressive possibilities of the double bass and bassoon in chamber music. Comprising two trailblazing soloists—double bassist Nina Bernat and bassoonist Eleni Katz—the duo brings a distinctly vocal approach to their transcriptions and original repertoire, highlighting the often-overlooked singing qualities of their instruments. In Latin, Basso Vox translates to “bass voice.” Recent and upcoming performance highlights include appearances at Tippet Rise, Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival, Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota, Concerts by the Pond, Music at Evergreen and the Rites of Spring Music Festival. Rhiannon Giddens has made a singular, iconic career out of stretching her brand of folk music, with its miles-deep historical roots and contemporary sensibilities, into just about every field imaginable. A two-time Grammy Award-winning singer and multi-instrumentalist, MacArthur “Genius” Grant Recipient, Pulitzer Prize winner, and composer of opera, ballet and film, Giddens has centered her work around the mission of lifting up people whose contributions to American musical history have previously been overlooked or erased, as well as advocating for a more accurate understanding of the country’s musical origins through art. Giddens has released three albums under her own name and two in collaboration with Italian multi-instrumentalist Francesco Turrisi, all on Nonesuch Records. American Railroad, her first album in collaboration with the Silkroad Ensemble, was released in November 2024, and her most recent album, a collaboration with Justin Robinson called What Did the Blackbird Say to the Crow, was released in 2025. A founding member of the landmark Black string-band Carolina Chocolate Drops and the all-female banjo supergroup Our Native Daughters, Giddens is as much a curator as a creator. She is the current artistic director of the Yo-Yo Ma-founded Silkroad Ensemble, hosts a TV show on PBS, My Music with Rhiannon Giddens, and has hosted two podcasts (Aria Code from New York City’s NPR affiliate station WQXR, which ran for three seasons, and American Railroad from Silkroad).

Chicago Tap Theatre is a vibrant dance company with a unique mission to preserve the quintessentially American dance form of tap and to take it to the next level of creativity and innovation. The company stands apart from other dance companies by bridging the gap between tap and other forms of concert dance (such as jazz, ballet and modern) by adopting a conceptual, narrative (i.e., story based) and more emotional approach to its work. Chicago Tap Theatre performs exclusively with live music provided by some of Chicago’s finest musicians, playing everything from Duke Ellington to David Bowie and many artists in between. Emmet Cohen is widely regarded as a leading jazz pianist of his generation and a defining force in the evolution of the art form. A virtuoso musician, producer and bandleader, he combines deep respect for jazz tradition with a singular ability to create connection, community and momentum in the modem era. Cohen has released 12 albums as a leader and is the producer and creative force behind Live From Emmet’s Place, a landmark series comprising over 140 two-hour livestream performances, featuring hundreds of musicians spanning generations and reaching more than 100 million views worldwide. The series continues from Power Station NYC, having grown from an intimate broadcast into a global cultural platform. A Mack Avenue recording artist, Cohen has performed in over 40 countries, serves as host of The Jazz Cruise and a member of its programming team, and he has been chosen as artistic partner of the 2027 American Piano Awards. He was named DownBeat Readers Poll Pianist of the Year (2025) and, in 2023, received both Pianist of the Year and Livestream Producer of the Year honors from the Jazz Journalists Association.

The New York Philharmonic String Quartet comprises four principal musicians from the Philharmonic: Concertmaster Frank Huang (The Charles E. Culpeper Chair), Principal Second Violin Qianqian Li, Principal Viola Cynthia Phelps (The Mr. and Mrs. Frederick P. Rose Chair) and Principal Cello Carter Brey (The Fan Fox and Leslie R. Samuels Chair). The group was formed in January 2017 during the Philharmonic’s 175th anniversary season. The New York Philharmonic String Quartet made its debut as the solo ensemble in John Adams’s Absolute Jest in New York in March 2017 and reprised the work on the orchestra’s 2017 European spring tour. All four members are multiple-prize winners, have appeared as concerto soloists with the Philharmonic and orchestras around the world, and have appeared frequently in the Philharmonic’s chamber music series at David Geffen Hall and Merkin Concert Hall.

Willie Jones III is one of the world’s most celebrated drummers in modern jazz. As a band leader, the “astute hard-bop drummer” (The New York Times), has sold-out series of sets at Dizzy’s Club in New York City, Club 1905 in Portland, the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Los Angeles, Club Bebop in Buenos Aires and Bimhuis in Amsterdam. His band has performed for crowds at full capacity at Central Park SummerStage and the New York City Winter Jazz Festival. The Los Angeles-born musician performed in the Roy Hargrove Quintet from 1998 to 2006. He was also one of two drummers in Hargrove’s powerhouse group RH Factor. Jones has been featured on performances and tours with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis and as a drummer of choice for legendary artists, including Sonny Rollins, Ernestine Anderson, Bobby Hutcherson, Cedar Walton, Frank Wess, Bill Charlap, Michael Brecker, Herbie Hancock and Hank Jones. Jones will perform with KU Jazz Ensemble I, led by Dan Gailey, director of Jazz Studies. Jazz Ensemble I is the flagship ensemble within the Jazz Studies program at the University of Kansas. The program has received 37 DownBeat Student Music Awards, including Jazz Ensemble I’s 2023, 2021, 2019 and 2015 awards in the Graduate Division for Best College Big Band in the United States or Canada, and their Outstanding Performance Awards in the same division in 2024, 2022 and 2017. Cirque Kalabanté is a Montreal-based multidisciplinary circus company specializing in African arts, featuring energetic dance routines, inspiring music and gravity-defying acrobatics that will amaze the whole family. Cirque Kalabanté’s show WOW (World of Words) is an unexpected stage experience where art becomes dialogue and movement a universal language. Experience the immersive show exploring the transmission of knowledge, the meeting of cultures and the magic of shared respect. Between ancestral rituals and aerial innovations, WOW (World of Words) erases boundaries and builds bridges between tradition and modernity. Kalabanté Productions was created by Yamoussa Bangoura, a multidisciplinary artist of Guinean origin who has performed with Cirque Éloize, Cavalia and Cirque du Soleil, among other companies. Yamoussa dreamt of founding a circus school and an international show production company specializing in the African arts, a dream that was realized in 2007. The company began by performing shows in Quebec and, over the years, expanded to all of Canada, the U.S., and now all over the world. The studio/school in Montreal offers classes in African dance, cirque and drumming. Kalabanté Productions is proud to be able to share their work, achievements and skills to inspire others and to assist with the humanitarian mission to help the Guinean community, from which Yamoussa and many of his company members come.

There are songwriters who chronicle life, and then there’s David Wilcox—an artist who metabolizes it. He has long been a quiet force in American folk music, a musician’s musician, a writer’s writer and a seeker whose gift lies in making the personal feel universal. With the recent release of The Way I Tell the Story (2025), Wilcox proves, yet again, that resilience isn’t just a survival skill, it’s an art form. The record shimmers with musical sophistication but leaves just enough space for the listener to feel what Wilcox has always done best: tell the truth, gently but without apology.

Known around the world for its eclectic repertoire and dazzling virtuosity, the Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer, under the leadership of Music Director Tim Keeler, has been hailed by The Boston Globe as “breathtaking in its accuracy of intonation, purity of blend, of color and swagger of style.” Founded in San Francisco in 1978 by singer and musicologist Louis Botto, Chanticleer quickly took its place as one of the most prolific recording and touring ensembles in the world—an “orchestra of voices” performing thousands of live concerts and selling more than one million recordings. Rooted in the Renaissance, Chanticleer’s repertoire has expanded to include a wide range of classical, gospel, jazz and popular music, and the group performs its beloved A Chanticleer Christmas program on tour every December. A new Christmas album, Joy to the World, was released in fall 2025. With a deep commitment to the commissioning of new compositions and arrangements, Chanticleer foregrounds American repertoire and a distinctively American sound, complementing the group’s signature diversity in terms of membership and genre. The ensemble has dedicated much of its vast recording catalog to these commissions, garnering Grammy Awards for its recordings of Sir John Tavener’s Lamentations & Praises and the ambitious collection of commissioned works entitled Colors of Love. Chanticleer’s 2002 album, Our American Journey, was inducted into the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress in 2025.

Winner of the 2022 Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions, New York-born and Connecticut-raised Chelsea Guo is equally acclaimed as a pianist and soprano. A recent graduate of The Juilliard School, she has quickly established an international presence with performances across North America, Europe and Asia. She has appeared at Italy’s Fazioli Piano Festival, Spain’s Sociedad Filarmónica de A Coruña, Germany’s Moritzburg Festival, and in leading venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Wigmore Hall. At San Diego’s 2023 Mainly Mozart Festival, she drew praise for her versatility, appearing as soprano soloist in Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 under Michael Francis and, two nights later, as pianist in Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2. She has also performed with such orchestras as the New Jersey Symphony and Fort Worth Symphony, collaborating with conductors including Barry Douglas, Xian Zhang, Michael Stern and Michael Francis. Since her historic YCA win—the first artist honored as both pianist and vocalist—Chelsea has made recital debuts at New York’s Merkin Hall and Washington, D.C.’s Kennedy Center. Recent highlights include the gala opening of The Florida Orchestra, a duo recital with baritone Joseph Parrish at Kansas City’s Harriman-Jewell Series and Handel’s Messiah with the Richmond Symphony.
