Acclaimed banjoist Max Allard and double bassist Craig Butterfield present an evening of inventive and engaging music, showcasing the rich musical possibilities of this distinctive instrumental pairing. The program features original works and contemporary compositions by Max Allard, Craig Butterfield, Bill Jones, Edgar Meyer and Béla Fleck, blending bluegrass, classical, jazz and American roots influences into a compelling concert experience.

James West, guitar and Joseph Gaskins, double bass. Both are recent graduates of the University of South Carolina, currently teaching at East Tennessee State University.
