The USC Chorales are joined by the Sandlapper Singers and Limited Time Only Chamber Choir to present the South Carolina premiere of “We Are Phoenix.” This new work by composer Timothy Takach calls humankind to draw hope and renewal from the beauty of the earth itself. Conceived as a collaborative effort for a wide range of singers, Takach’s beautiful and evocative music is accompanied by string orchestra. The performance will also feature pieces sung by the individual choirs.
Free and open to the public
$15 suggested donation may be made at the concert or ahead of time here.
