Martin Bejerano, director Composer, musician, artist, photographer, philanthropist — Thomas Hormel truly embodied the “Renaissance Man” spirit in his life and work. Come celebrate reimaginations of his wonderful and inventive music by top Frost School student arrangers and musicians! The program will feature arrangements by student winners of the “Thomas Hormel Emerging Arrangers Competition”, and will also include an original student composition inspired by one of Hormel’s art works. Hormel was a composer and lover of many genres of music, and this innovative concert will echo this sentiment with imaginative arrangements that span a multitude of styles and approaches. Join us to support our young, talented Frost arrangers, and to celebrate the music of this unique artist and composer! SAT / JAN 30, 2027 / 5:00 PM Knight Center for Music Innovation, Hormel Innovation Stage FREE RSVP RSVP here. Set a reminder here. Read program here. Read program notes here.
