Join the audience for the Future Mobility Living Lab Signature Lecture with NHTSA Deputy Administrator Lee White on AI, autonomous mobility, emerging transportation technologies, and the future of vehicle safety. Drawing on more than four decades of experience spanning UPS, automated vehicle technology, USDOT, and now NHTSA, Lee will share his perspective on how transportation is evolving, how emerging technologies are moving toward real-world deployment, and what it will take to advance innovation while keeping safety at the center. The conversation will be especially relevant for students, faculty, researchers, industry leaders, and transportation professionals interested in AI, engineering, autonomous vehicles, public policy, transportation safety, and the future of mobility. The lecture and fireside conversation will be followed by an autonomous mobility technology demonstration, giving attendees an opportunity to see some of these technologies in action. This lecture is part of the Office of the Provost's UGA Signature Lecture Series and is hosted by the Georgia Network for Electric Mobility and the University of Georgia College of Engineering.
