During the 2017 UGA Piano Pedagogy Symposium, piano students from the Hugh Hodgson School of Music performed assistant professor of composition Peter Van Zandt Lane's "Studies in Momentum." The performance, held on February 11, 2017 in Edge Recital Hall, saw a different student play each of the piece's movements: I. ground state — Elena Lyalina II. projectile motion — Yuxin Ni III. escape velocity — Yoonsook Song IV.
