Learn how to engrave and cut materials like wood, fabric, and acrylic with the Glowforge Pro HD laser cutter from an undergraduate peer. Attendees will learn how to set up and run the laser cutter safely. Training includes successfully completing self-paced online quiz on the Makerspace ELC Course followed by an in-person training with the laser cutter. The online quiz in ELC must be completed before the in-person session. The in-person session takes about an hour. Previous experience with a laser cutter is not required. Please note, this training does not cover file preparation or design elements with file creation.
