    The inaugural concert of The Conservatory Series brings together distinguished CCM faculty artists and outstanding student performers in two masterworks of the chamber music repertoire. Brahms's expansive Piano Quartet No. 2 in A Major, Op. 26 is paired with Schubert's monumental Octet in F Major, D. 803, celebrating the collaborative artistry that defines the CCM community.

    This program celebrates the rich musical traditions of Central and Eastern Europe, bringing together works inspired by folk melodies, rhythms and expressive styles. The concert reveals the remarkable ways composers transformed folk influences into chamber music masterpieces.
