The LSU A Cappella Choir, LSU’s flagship touring choir, opens the 26-27 season with with soaring choral works inspired by the beauty of the natural world and the promise of “Another glorious day.” From radiant harmonies that greet the morning to powerful musical portraits of forests, rivers, skies, and changing seasons, we invite our audience to reconnect with nature through song. Uplifting, exciting, and deeply moving, this opening program celebrates the joy of shared voices and the timeless inspiration found in the world around us. The concert features contemporary composer, Jake Runestad's "Come to the Woods" from his American Triptych. A full program for this concert will be available at: https://lsu.edu/cmda/events/programs /// As part of LSU’s College of Music and Dramatic Arts, the LSU School of Music offers its students one of the nation’s most comprehensive music programs.
