The Conference of Region 8 (northeastern u.s.) North American Saxo phone Alliance will take place in the CMU College of the Arts.  A two day event - February 9 and 10, 2019.  Among the events will be college saxoph one quartets and soloists, professors from throughout the region performi ng a variety of music, and several jazz events including a closing concer t by the CMU Jazz Ensemble and noted soloists. Conference perfor mances will be free and open to the public.
