Guest artist Carl Allen will present a drum set clinic as part of the 2025 Berklee Drums and Percussion Workshop. He will discuss and demonstrate foundational drum set concepts and techniques as applied to jazz drumming and overall musicianship. Additionally, important historical information, information about relevant recordings, and insights into Allen~s illustrious career will be shared. Other clinic topics will include hand-to-hand development, four-way coordination, balance between limbs, drum set styles, repertoire development, and chart interpretation.
