LSU Manship Distinguished Professor of Piano Michael Gurt joins talented LSU artists for a recital featuring premieres of music by French composer Eugène Bozza. Known for colorful harmonies, lyrical melodies, and dazzling technical demands, Bozza’s music has long captivated chamber musicians. This program presents recently discovered works from a French archive, including music for piano, voice, saxophone, and violin—revealing a fresh side of this distinctive composer.
